No jail for LT; Hall of Fame linebacker gets probation in plea deal

What a joke... admits to doing the deed with a kid and basically walks. If he wasn't a HOF football player, he'd be doing time and forever registered as a pedophile.

He does have to register as a sex offender.

I believe there will be another court in hearing in a few months to determine if he must register.

Money and fame often make a huge difference in the justice system,  unfortunately.

Very true, if you have money you can buy your way out of anything it seems like. Some of the guys I deal with that have done basically the same thing get 10-20 years and have to register and follow all the rules or they get picked up and brought back. Just doesn't make any sense.

Should have got 10 years just for his performance on Dancing With The Stars.

Another DWTS failure, Tom Delay, is trying to worm his way out of a 3 year sentence.

ESPN reports that he does indeed have to register as a sex offender, and gets 6 years probation.

I think one of the things that may have made a difference other than who he was ....was the girl told police during her first interview that she told Taylor she was 19 WHEN HE ASKED HER HOW OLD SHE WAS.

At least. that is what I read when this first came out.

LT is just a P.O.S. any way you cut it.

This is true.  I wonder if the hooker had a lawyer present when she made the statement that she lied to LT about her age, because that's what handcuffed the prosecution's case.

Vick had money and so did Plaxico and they went to prison. Stallworth and LT got hand-slaps and they're rich too.

Vick didn't get the time he deserved at all and he's right back playing football. Obviously I don't have a "normal" job but if I did and I was busted running a dogfighting ring I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to find a new job when I got out of prison that didn't involve burgers or a mop.
