Well, I decided today to head on out to start looking for a new dog in the house. I was originally planning on going to an adoption shelter to adopt a pet. That didn't exactly pan out. Ended up going to a local place down here and found me a little beastie that I absolutely love.  I forgot how expensive puppies can be now.

I've always loved Pugs. There just something about them that I've liked for years. It came down between an English Bulldog (very pricey) and the Pug. Ended up taking home this lil critter and giving him a nice new home. He'll be 3 months old on Monday. AKC papers, chip, full shots, etc etc.

Not sure on a name yet, although Frank is kind of sticking. Men In Black was on earlier and my daughters saw the Pug in the movie. We'll see what happens.

I read the title, I saw who started it, and it just screamed Puppy!

Good for you.  While I'm a big fan of shelter adoptions, I think it's important for kids to grow up with puppies.  Did you take the girls with you when you went looking, or did you pop the surprise on them?

And I'm also happy to see he is going to be allowed to climb on the furniture because it is going to end up being his house soon.

Brought them with me.  Didn't want to go picking something out without them.  They've got some say in what kind of dog to get.
