Lessons I Learned As A Boy

Recommended Posts

At the risk of prompting ridicule, I am going to post this video.

I am not Mormon, and no matter what your religious persuasion - I feel it carries a great message.

Most good messages carry a lesson that is worth learning.  Even if they are taught in many different ways, the important part is that we all learn and follow them.

If we had that "like" function, your score would now have a more thumbs up!

My dad put it this way.  "It doesn't cost you a dime to be decent to people."

It was something his dad had said to him.

Simple, yet profound.

Not to be a spoiler, but there ain't no way them two boys gave up their silver dollars. But, nonetheless, good message. :)

P.S.   Robert, Does this mean you should have given a 100 dollar bill to that kid who flipped you off and spit at your feet ;D ;D.

"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about dancing in the rain. Attitude is EVERYTHING."
