i didn't even know those existed. thanks, man. looks interesting with the zipper style ribs.

I googled for tube baits and didn't have much luck. a whole lot of tubes that look the same, but nothing anyone could comment on. I guess the two features I'm looking for are laminated colors and a very lively skirt.

I'll try those yum tubes out. any other suggestions, people? thanks a lot.

venom tubes work pretty well for me and *** disc tubes have great skirt action but brents out of stock. definitely order some when he gets them back in (wink, wink, nudge, nudge  ;D)

i caught the smallie in my avatar on a gitzit tube, have always had success with em in the 'black leech' color. i know some have different color skirts from the tube body.

I use two brands only:

Mizmo:  3 1/2" Small Jaw for smallmouth, 5 1/2" Grandes for largemouth

Micro Munch Tackle El Gordo:

8-)

I like the Gitzit tubes and have caught quite a few smallies with them.  I also like that they are fairly inexpensive at Wally World.

bags of 25 are pretty cheap at dick's, too. not sure of the price but i know they're well worth it.

I tend to favor berkley power tube 3" smoke color. It's been my top producing bait this year.

My two favorites are Mizmo Big Boy tubes and BPS Magnum Flippin tubes. I've had some luck with Venom 4" tubes as well.

I like the 4" Mizmo tubes in Road Kill and June Bug

thanks, guys. I have some links to look through here - be back later!  ;D

oh, and that sucks that you're out of those *** tubes...what a great price.  :-[

I've been having alot of luck on those Coffee Tubes.  They smell really good too but they're a bit pricey ><

I can't wait for those *** tubes to come back!!

I'm a huge tube fan and fished at least a half dozen different brands of tubes for the past several decades and have ended up with two favorites.

Reaction Innovations Boom Boom 4.0 tube. Consistent in quality and length, will take a 4/0 wide gap hook, soft and a multiplicity of colors.

For a smaller tube the Canyon Plastics Garlands "Original" Gitzit. This tube is smaller in diameter and 3 3/4 " long. It is my "finesse tube.

I second the Reaction Innovations Boob Boom Tubes. Wonderful action, great colors.

I use tubes from Dry Creek Outfitters.  They are based in Idaho, and make some awesome stuff.  They have flippin tubes, standard, stubby, and dropshot tubes.  Great stuff :)

I have caught a lot of big fish this year on the 4.25" Yum Vibra King Tubes!  Green Pumpkin will get it done 90% of the time for me.  I also weighed my Tournament PB on it back in April 6lbs. 8oz. in a BFL.

I have caught more small mouth than I can remember on the Gitzit tube, color number 300.  The Bass Pro Tender Tubes (green with orange flake) work well too.
