I have always like Shaw and his program...his intensity and love of the sport is a breath of fresh air! I found this quote in his book from Gary Klein.....

"Shaw and I drew each other in an invitational tournament on Lake Eufaula. When he said he knew where the fish were, I said "Lets go" In a few hours both of us had four fish. I lost one fish because I was using 10 lb. test. Shaw was using 15 lb. test and bringing them to the boat, even through heavy obstacles. Earlier Shaw had seen a five-pounder in a ditch. We went after her. It turned out there was an eight-pounder in the ditch also, I made the first cast and missed the eight pounder. Then Shaw made a cast and caught the five pounder-and had his limit of keepers. He held the branch of a tree and positioned the boat so I could get a good cast, then he handed me his rod with the 15-pound test on it. I've been fishing 24 years (at time of print) and no other angler has ever done that for me. He gave me his fishing rod knowing I was about to catch an eight pounder. He is a great individual."

Awesome Guy! I always love watching his show its got some cool ideas on there and I always enjoy seeing him get so pumped for a bass when he's bringing it in. Its always nice to see someone with such a passion for the sport.

Yet another great interview.   Loved the duck story.  If had an opportunity to fish with any Elite angler Shaw would be my pick.
