What's the most you guys have won from a tournament? Doesn't matter if it's a small club tourney or a large one.

I have given out more than I won....  In a small tournament, winning 1st place I think my buddy and I won just under $200.  In a tournament that I put on I paid out 90% with a total of $952 total payout for 14 boats

Yep, but most on this site have no idea how it use to be. I won a 15' Raycraft boat on a trailer as a third place boat years ago, there was no motor on the rear. Just the boat & trailer, nothing else.

$1400 in a Weekend Series win and $1300 last weekend. Wish we had more boats in our tourney's.

Most tourneys around here are 15-20 boat get togethers where everyone just throws in $20 or $30 so first will only take $300-$400. But I usually win a bunch of those a year.

Tin, take a little vacation down here for a week. Bass Champs, Bass-N-Bucks average from 175-225 boats and a lot of the others will average over 100. Entry fees are less than 300.00 and they pay out either a boat or around 20-25 grand for first. tons of fun but you better have your game on.

Sounds like some fun. The big thing is our lakes cannot support much more than they already do. Fishing is steadily declining in a lot of lakes because of too many tournaments. The tournament I won last weekend had 36 boats on just 87 acres. Everyone wants to just fish local. No one wants to travel, even Lake Champlain only draws 80 boats at most on the Weekend Series and that is a nice one day $300 entry tournament.

$1500 twice. We don't have large tournaments (50- 70 boats in major tournaments) but the payout is pretty good in my opinion.

Hey Tin, do you fish the weekend series a lot? I was thinking about fishing a couple weekend series tournies and some BFLs next year.
