I prefer my American Rodsmiths David Fritts rod for deep cranking.  I could see any substantial difference between the two.

BTW Wright &McGill Makes a fine kevlar rod. My dad has one for specks and reds on the Tx gulf coast. it's pretty sweet.

Skeet finished pretty high up in the standings at Kentucky Lake last weekend.  When asked about what equipment he was using he would not say the name of the rod.  

That makes me wonder if he was using Eagle Claw rods and was unwilling to say so because he is still under contract to Lamiglas or if he was using Lamiglas rods and did not want to give them credit.

everyone becomes a sellout after time,look at KVD hes got his name slapped and labeled on everything,we'd all do the same,a rod priced in a lower budget will inturn sell more to noob anglers or guys on a budget and inturn fill skeets pockets even more.im willing to bet they will incorperate his trademark black and yellow in the new rods,kinda cant wait till icast to see what they look like.but an eagleclaw for $90????? kinda skerry :-/

Wright and McGill?  I thought they only made Sissy Fishing Rods....sorry Fly Fishing Rods?  I guess it doesn't matter if you are Skeet Reese he can outfish most people with an broom stick and a yo yo attached to the end of it!
