Had high 60's air temps today in Maryland outside od DC, so I went to a small lake right down the street and fished from shore. I haven't been bass fishing a full year yet but this was a great day by my standards. I caught 8 bass within 1.5 hours all in the same general area and all on the same black and white tube.

got her on a tube jig. half black, half white. rigged it so the black would be on top and white on bottom

I tell you, the more complex my gear and tackle has become the more I'm enjoying good ole fashioned bank fishing.

Black and white tube eh?  Not a color we hear much about for tubes,  You may have just given away your secret bait  

yea i took fishing as a gym class at my university up in the finger lakes this semester if you can believe it, and the black and white tube was the number bait for a lot of us in the class for pike and smallies. i actually caught my 3 lb PB smallie on it at seneca lake. this was my first time trying it down here in MD

Thats a really nice fish for that body of water. I never fished there much but the little opening of that creek channel that goes around the back side of the island always worked for me.
