Okay Mr. Bocabasser, you asked for it and I delivered.  I caught these two and 7 more bank fishing at Okeeheelee today at 2:00.  And no, I never fished the lakes that I caught fish in today LOL.   I think we need to do another get together at Okeeheelee and have a mini tourny.  There has to be some bigguns in there somewhere.  I'm thinking about going back tonight.....

I came off the plane and literally an hour later i was at that park with Avid, West palm dude, and New 2 bass along with some others. We all cought at least 6. If im not mistaken West palm doos pb 8 lbeer comes from there

I use Zoom Craws99% of the time.  Okeeheelee is a T/M lake only but I have heard you can put your gas motor in there if you dont run it.  I called parks and recreation to find out and was transferred 3x and finaly left a message with the top dude who never called back.  I'm going to do some more searching to see if we can bring our bass boats.  I know they have a nice ramp.  Or we can just walk the banks.  I dont think you could cover all the shores in one day though.  Pretty big out there.

I know its non motorized but does that mean you can tilt you motor out of the water and still fish by using th eT/M ?

Ive been out there when other guys have had bass boats in with their mototrs trimmed out of the water...but i have also fished with "others" in areas clearly marked no trespassing...so calling is the best bet.

But then again...sometimes its easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission.

I agree Hal..I seem to get away with more when I ask for forgiveness then i do asking for permission.   So when do you wanna go.  We can let my boat be the guinea pig.

We had a get together not to long ago at that lake.  We stayed at the FMA side.  Grilled some, drank some, caught some.  It was great.  I'm down for a re-do.  Everybody caught fish that day.  WPDude was killing them on the spinner, AAA on the worm, Avid I think was using a stick bait, and I did a senko/lizard switch off.  I liked the chilling by the grill part the best, because the company was great.  Thats when Syfer420 showed up and started catching bass too.
