River is just starting to get back to a normal high level after last weekend's rain.  

Fish were barely biting Friday evening.  I did coax this one to bite a 3/8 oz. Strike King Heavy Duty in black/blue.

And look at the belly on this momma!  :o  Weighed one pound on the nose.

Only bite I got on that jig.  Usually fish a little lighter (1/8 or 3/16) bait, but the current made fishing even a 3/8 almost impossible.

Had one fish chase the jig a couple of times, but no bite.  Changed to this and I do believe it is the first fish I have ever caught on one of these infernal baits.

Oh well, I'm still in search of the big bad mammajamma I caught last spring.  I know there are a few 20"+ fish in this river, just a matter of finding them once the river goes back down a bit and warms up a couple of degrees.

Burly, any more pics of that creek?  It looks nice.  I wish we had places like that here close to home.
