Boy do I love this site! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't know about Wacky Rigging senkos, and jeezus, I'm hooked!

Scale was old and iffy it was a rangers at the resevoir, first it came up 6.3, then 5.4, then 6.1. I really wish I had a good scale, but the picture and feeling of catching her was plenty for me to be happy about..

Here's 2 of the other 5 smaller ones I caught

Thank you, and although it wasn't as big as the one I hooked on Thursday night in the same area, it sure helped me cheer up!

Great fish.

Congratulations!

Congrats, I'm just waiting to pull one out that size this year.  I just fished senkos for the first time a few days ago, and had a great day also, but now im DEF going to try them wacky rigged  :).

I love wacky rigging senkos now. It's my go to bait, and yesterday, it was the only thing I threw (except a Super Fluke for no more then 20 minutes).

I'm very puzzled though...

The fish in my avatar (22in / 5.4lbs)

This fish is longer, as you can see I'm wearing the same shirt and jeans, it's 25in not 22in, and it has a much larger stomach...

Oh well, guess I'll never know the exact weight, I'm ordering a scale tomorrow, any suggestions for under $30 thats accurate and durable? Or is there no such thing?

That first one's at least 6 lbs!  Great catchin' young man.

Dan

Thank you sir!

and thanks to everyone else.

I'm still on a huge high from that catch. Hopefully it'll become a more frequent thing throughout the rest of spring and into summer.

That thing is all of 6lbs, minimum, IMO.

Way to go!!

Wacky rigged senko is both my savior and crutch.   It works so well, it's tough to fish other set-ups, decreasing versatility.  But even knowing this,.....I can't put it down, lol.

(ps- change your clothes once in a while, geez,...j/k :) )

Don't worry about weight; it's a Hawg, take a pic, thank God & release em  ;)

Haha. I have 30+ white shirts, but as for jean shorts, they're my "Junk Shorts" just like I always wear the same pair of shoes, although i have 30+ pairs of shoes.. I guess I don't want to get other nicer clothes dirty, and hey, it's giving me goodluck!!
