What a gorgeous Swimbait

Featured Replies

Just purchased on ebay. Seller says its a "DINGO" swimbait. Claim this particular one is a prototype and has only been used for testing in a tank for 5 minutes .Bait included a free replacement tail. The one on it has a small tear.

Its so pretty,I dont know if I even want to use it.

Bottom of the bait says "120g" written in Marker.

Here are some specs.

Specifications:

- Surface/floating model

- 8.5" in length

- MUSTAD 3/0 hooks and Bucher split rings

- Heavy through wire construction

- Constructed of high impact ABS

- Painted with super tough auto paint with clear coat

So this bait isnt mass produced, and this is the only one?  That seems kind of strange to me, but cool swimbait either way.

I make no claim as to whether the above mentioned info is true or not,its just what was put in the description of the ad:

You are bidding on a brand new DINGO swimbait with a free replacment tail. This was a protoype and was water tested for about 5 minutes. This is a high quality double jointed swimbait and can be used for largemouth bass, stripers, musky, northern pike, saltwater big game fish, muskie and more.  The body is jointed by 3 parts as most natural vending curves you'd ever seen, yet capture wave motions so natural in lively wobbling.  We use fundamental concepts of stabilizer fins for avoiding any artificial wobbling. Whenever or wherever you wish to aim only for the BIG bass, musky, pike, saltwater fish and about anything else the DINGO swimbait is the key to make your dream of a true trophy reality.  High quality lures from Tacklebooty!  We use MUSTAD hooks and Bucher split rings on this lure so you won't have to change them out. I ship all over the USA and Canada.  Shipping discounts apply to all bidders for multiple auctions won! Bass, Pike, Muskie, Musky love these lures!!

Its a good looking bait either way.  Have you used it yet?

reminds me of those musky baits, I think they are called Bulldogs or something. Hope it catches some nice fish

Nope havent used it yet. Dont exactly have the right setup yet

It appers to ba an exact copy of a BBZ. The factory that produces these baits also makes the River to Sea. Probably owned by R2S. I am sure the bait comes from the same factory and is sold to "Dingo".

Looks to be a great way to buy a BBZ for a fraction of the $$. However I bet they arent allowed to offer a trout color or any of the same bbz colors

With Shipping I paid right at $20 for this bait($13.16 for the bait and $6.80 for shipping)

I thought this bait looked VERY familiar

When it's a "no name", Run it before praising it ;)

Many of these are made in China by people who don't fish and will never test a bait.

I've used this exact lure (in yellow Perch), earlier this yr down the Cape, it ran on it's side for the most part

I believe Speedbead had some China swims too, he casted it and reeled in only the head, lol

Hopefully, this isn't one of those.  ::)

It's a repainted BBZ.  Nothing new.
