2007 - what a year!!

After a 16 year drought after my last PB, this year I broke it in style.  I caught a 9lb 1oz largemouth at Lake Fork during the BassResource.com roadtrip (thanks Russ, for catching that on video!), And in September, I caught a 5lb 12oz smallie out of the John Day river!  That's 2 PB's in the same year!

Just had to celebrate that for a moment.

Bring on '08!!  :D

Congratulations on the PB in the green and brown catagory.   8-)   What might 08 bring?

great job! i'd like to see that video.

Cool.  Now that you have found our "Outings" section, feel free to use it more often,....geez,lol

Glenn posted in Outings,...what's next, RW gonna post a pic?  Gene gonna break 9lbs9oz stigma?  Russ gonna shut up? (doubt that one :) )

The sky is the limit now! lol

GM- Any pics?

What is Keri's PB smallie?

Yea lets see pics of the mods fish!!! Russ shows em' all the time. I wanna see some RW smallies. Don't tell me you don't take pics of those 5-6lb smallmouth more often! We want pics. We want pics!!!

Let's see the video, I love to see people react to catching a big'un! Congrats!

Congrats on both PBs.

You did good!

Keep it up and let us know when you beat both of your new records.

Congrats on the PB's . The Lake Guntersville trip should be an excellent time to break the DD mark in '08.

Fishguy- Down in my signature it says "my fishing videos".  Click that and then click on the one that says "2nd annual BR roadtrip-Lake Fork"

Glenn and Kerri hit 3 fish over 7 lbs in one day including Glenn's 9.1 PB!!  They were the highliners of the day.  Triton21 (Kelley) also hit a big 8lbr!!

They are all in there but we have the whole catch from Glenn's 9.1.  We were fishing the same cove and Brent noticed Glenn was on a fish so we rolled film and sure enough,...it was a HAWG!

Ok, here's the pic, but first... I look like crap for 2 reasons: It was 95 degrees out and the guy who took the photograph wanted the sun on my face, so he lifted up my cap and rearranged it while I was holding the fish. So I'm sweating, squinting, and my hat and hair is all messed up (ya I know... I look drunk!)

Caught it on a wacky rigged Outlaw Baits Limp Stick. The pic doesn't show it, but she had a big belly.

congrats on both records!!!!

I think that's a great pic and a fine fish.

Congratulations on a very successful year!

The best is still ahead for you.

Good luck in 2008.

Glenn, I just went back and looked at the Fork Media,....is that the SAME shirt you were wearing the day you hit the 9 and the 7 ?????

If so, I suggest you pack it for the G-ville trip!! ;):D

Good observation. Yes it is, by coincidence. Same hat too. Funny thing is, I don't wear that shirt too often. Maybe I should!

Oh, and it was an 8lb 1oz and 9lb 1oz at Fork.  Keri caught the 7lb 8oz lunker. I think it fought harder than it's bigger sisters!

I think it needs 2 small horseshoes embroidered on the shoulder.  You can add them as you accumulate PB's like "rising sun" decals on a Navy fighter jet

Not saying it was luck but it IS a lucky shirt ;)

Glenn,

Those were some nice fish.    A very nice way to end a trip.    I'm glad Fork delivered for some.       Heres to 2008 and many new PB for  forum members.

Keep the film rolling and cameras near, you never know when it may happen.
