not sure if you know of it but the tackle shop was called "The Tackle Box" and im not positive that the scale went up to 50lbs. im pretty sure it was 50 though, might have been 60. but i am positive that the fish maxed out the scale

Awesome striper! We don't get 'em much like that here in the mountains! We get some nice ones here in the reservoirs, but not many like that behemoth! I'd be embarrased to put up a photo of my pb...yours would eat mine for brunch

On another note...striper may make fine eating, but there is absolutely NOTHING better than fresh-caught Canadian walleye (how do you think those big pig Northerns get that way ?!?!)

well my dads friend (the one who's brother-in-law is pictured on the first post) just got back from a charterboat trip near virginia beach and 6 people each caught 2 stripers each, every single one was over 40" !!!! they had to buy extra coolers to bring the filets home!!!! ;D
