Bass Pro deal

Featured Replies

I got one of those sheets in the box with my Extreme reel the other day.  Wasn't interested in any of it so I tossed it.

So I guess this post was not up your alley?

What's up with that 5 lures for $5!? Know what lures they are?? I click it and it takes me to an Offshore Angler Fighting Belt?  :-?

They are Bass Pro shops brand lures.

They had that five for five dollar sale a while back and though I  didn't order any , If I remember right some of the guys here ordered and were happy about the baits they received.

I ordered the 5 baits for $5 last year and they were all crappie crankbaits.

Did you mean crappie or crappy?  There is a big difference.   ;D

Both actually. They are much smaller than bass cranks, they are for panfish. And I was not very impressed with the quality to be honest. But whadaya expect for $5, right?

I sure expected better. Those baits were tiny! I did it a few years ago and I got a couple decent lures out of it. One walker that I still have in my box, in fact. But last year, they sent out those tiny panfish baits. I was so annoyed I wrote BPS asking what they were thinking. Never heard back from them. If anyone takes them up on this year's offer, I'd love to hear what they get.

I ordered them a while back and they included one jerkbait, one lipless crank, a spinnerbait, a jig, and a medium diving crank. All were for bass.

When i ordered awhile back I got a jerk bait, a top water sammy, 2x lipless and a deepdiver.

they were actually kinda small, more on the line for crappie

I will post pics when they come in

Anyone know anything about the reel they are offering for 29.99.

I have never used the reel, I held one at the Harrisburg store, seemed like a typical 25 to 30 buck reel. I HAVE NO EXPEERIENCE USING IT, so I can not tell you about the performance.

We ordered 4 of the 5 for 5 lure deals, last spring to stockpile for our give away program. They were well worth the money 4 of the 20 we recieved were crappie/finesse sized. They all caught fish to the fellas they went to, we will do the same this year.

The tool kit is a fair deal at the price they have, nothing spectacular just fair for the money

I'm getting the 5 lures for 5 bucks deal!  :)
