Got to get out for a few hours with my dad today to fish the Delta. Water temp was between 58-60 and was suprisingly pretty clear. We got a little rain and the wind kicked up some but we were able to put 19 in the Tracker on Rat L Traps and Red Eye Shad. Nothing big all about 2 - 2.5#.

I'd say you and your dad had an excellant day of fishin together!!!!!

gotta love those rattle baits.  sounds like y'all really put the steel to 'em.  congrats man. :)

A day full of action, you can't beat that.  Nice job.   I just had a trip where I caught around 20 super angry 2# males.  It was pretty fun on a light line dropshot setup.

My girl decided after hearing about the trip with dad yesterday that she wanted to go this morning. So we went back down to the Delta and fished til noon then dropped her off at the dock to go shoppping and finished up the day with dad. Water temp was 60-62 today and it was brezzy. Fished rising and high tide most of the day. Ended up with 26 in the Tracker. Mostly 2 to 2.5# and dad caught one on a dropshot that went 5.1. Most of the fish were small fat females so I'm thinking the big girls should be up soon.

Nothing beats fishing with dad.  Cool pics.

Great shots, wonderful family Enjoy every day with your dad. God bless you.

great pics!!! and its great you got a family into fishing too!!!  my girlfriend goes and watches and my dad only goes when he has to lol.  I'm getting my 6 yr old brother into it and he loves it.  He caught a 4 lber last summer!!!  lol it was on a dropshot rig under a bobber and he had to sit down in the fightin chair (aka a milk crate) to reel it in.

The best times on the water are always with family
