Went to lake this afternoon for a couple of hours. After about 30 minutes I got a pretty good bass. The fish was blind in one eye!

A few minutes later I got this big perch! What a surprise! 8-)

The bass I got on the Gan craft OSA 115. It weighs 46gr. (aprox. 1.6oz.). You're best bet to buy it, is on ebay. Here's one wich is not that expensive. They usually cost alot more on ebay.

Speaking of one-eyed bass, I once caught one that was 100% blind and on a spinnerbait too. So much for bass hunting mainly with their sight

Yes max, that's the first good size perch this year, but probably the last. There are very few around this year. No wonder, in the past 3 years there were tons of them taken with nets.

I also caught a 100% blind bass in spain. It was really long but only skin and bones (only 1.6kg! ). Caught it on a sizmic toad.

For those who asked.....

Yop the perch here get bigger than their North-american "counterparts".

The yellow perch in europe is known as the Perca fluviatilis, whereas the american one is known as the Perca Flavescens.

BTW Daniel, that new perch on Pro-blinker is big, but I doubt it is a world record..... Come on, the fish wasn't even measured, let alone weighed !

Plus the guy is hiding his hands too much.... I would say a + or - 50cm fish.

I caught a bass just last weekend that was completely blind in one eye too.  Weird.
