Was this fish worth it .

Featured Replies

This guy sent me too the hopital to have hooks removed out of my knuckle last night , but he was well worth the expense . He weighed in at 6.8 lbs (according to my berkely scale) . After a few pics he was released back into the lake I caught him from. If you look closely you can see the rapala hanging from my knuckle in my right hand .

Nice fish. Not one of them is worth a trip to the ER in my opinion. Check out the how to articles on hook removal and it may save you some $$$ and a trip off the water the next time.

Glad it all worked out.

depends how much that fish was worth to you. if the fish made your day, i'm sure it was worth it ;)

Hey fellas -

I tried to remove the hook myself , but it was actually buried in the bone of my knuckle , I'm fixing to go back out tonight and catch his big sister if I can . I'm going to have a replica of this fish made . I have his/her measurements . Well worth the trip to the hospital , if you ask me  ;)

If you're going to fish with treble-hooked lures, you NEED a net.
