This guy sent me too the hopital to have hooks removed out of my knuckle last night , but he was well worth the expense . He weighed in at 6.8 lbs (according to my berkely scale) . After a few pics he was released back into the lake I caught him from. If you look closely you can see the rapala hanging from my knuckle in my right hand .

I'd take a treble in the knuckle for that fish!

Nice fish. Not one of them is worth a trip to the ER in my opinion. Check out the how to articles on hook removal and it may save you some $$$ and a trip off the water the next time.

I tried to remove the hook myself , but it was actually buried in the bone of my knuckle , I'm fixing to go back out tonight and catch his big sister if I can . I'm going to have a replica of this fish made . I have his/her measurements . Well worth the trip to the hospital , if you ask me

Nice fish, been to the ER once for my daughter hook in the ear(son did it) and once for hook in my back (son did that too)
