Sunday Morning in Florida

Featured Replies

The morning started off a chilly one for October in FL. I think the temperature when i got up was 59 degrees a little chilly. My friends showed up at my house around 6:30 and we carried the Jon Boats down to the lake. We all started throwing topwater and had the first bass in about 10 minutes. The day in general was slow but we got two nice fish later on in the day. All in all it was a good day. A little windy and chilly but catching these two nice bass are defenitely worth it.

Way to go. I love fishing this time of year. No skeeters and no sweating.

Yeah it was nice. What is even nicer is I can see the lake from my front door, and I don't have to load my jon boat into my truck I can carry it to the lake. I can get up 15 minutes before I'm on the water. I should be going out again on Tuesday when I get my Spro BBZ-1 Shad to try it out. I am probably only going to bring one pole and throw this thing the whole time.

Great looking fish CFFF, and the water your fishing looks great too. Living so close to the lake....terrific.

It is a private lake. Lake Winnemisette in Deland, FL. It is an almost 200 acre lake, and is very clear.
