Raystown Lake in PA on 3-14-2009

Featured Replies

I went out on the lake today, didn' t get even a second glance as far as I could tell.  I didn't expect to catch anything just wanted to check the boat, motor and get into casting again.  Slow rolled spinnerbaits today and worked a 3/16 and 1/4 oz. gitzit.  Water temp at surface was only 39.4 F over at trough creek cove.

It was still great getting out.

I'm sure it was fun just to get out.  I repaired two toilets in my house, prepared my mower for Spring, and worked on some landscaping.  Sounds like you had a better day than me.   ;)

Hey at least you got out there, I haven't been out yet. Hoping to maybe go tomorrow.

Hello all. Went fishing ON 3-18-09 from about 6am until about 6pm. Very nice day out. Air temp. about 70 degrees. Water tempurature was 44.2-44.7 degrees. Fished Aitch, a couple main lake points, trough creek, and shy beaver.....didn't catch anything! Spoke to several other anglers who also didn't catch anything.

Have a good day and keep them lines tight!!

P.S.   Caught a 8 pounder on right side of Aitch between the second and third coves last year April 25.  Smoke/red 4" tube...16 feet of water.

Anyone been out on Raystown lately?  Last I was there was on day after St. Patrick's Day.  Water was 44.2 degrees....very nice day but no fish.  Fished for 7.5 to 8 hrs.  Any updates let me know.....

How bout Glendale?
