For the last 14 months I have been building a house and thankfully this weekend we moved in. So, with today off from work, I thought I would take a break from some little things that need to be done and hit the river that runs in front of my house. Heres what made it such a great day:

So, my trip was actually taking my little girl Olivia who just turned 3 last month on her first fishing trip. Went about a quarter mile down the road on the Clinch River to a hole full of small bluegill. She took her first steps by herself in the fishing section at WalMart. It looks like shes gonna be a natural. I had a blast putting on mealworms and helping her cast and set the hook.

She caught a whopper..........way to go !

Moments like that (especially caught in pictures) make the best fishing ever!

And a great day it was....Congratulations for being such a great Dad too. Those kind of moments will last forever for both of you......
