It took me a long time to get a bass with the 3:16 wake jr. but it was a good one (post spawn fish)! Don't know how much it weighed but my guess is about 7.5lbs. What do you guys think?

I have had alot followers and also hooked some fish but they all came unbuttoned. This is by far the biggest I have hooked and thank god it was hooked well! 8-)

I think your estimate seems reasonable. That looks like an old bass too.

I really like it fishinfiend! Plenty of power. The rod is rated up to 4oz. but easily casts 5oz.

I just wish the split grip was a bit longer.

Fish looks awfull healthy to be post spawn.  I'm not sure that tail might not just be another accident.  She is a stocky thing thats 4 sure.  Bet she put up a fight?  It's really hard for me to judge the wt. on those stocky ones cause you can't always go by length.  The shorter ones will weigh heavier than u think.  I caught a fish back a month or so ago here that was 23" but I bet it didn't weigh 4.5lbs.  Just spawned out, sux!  That fish's tail looked like it had been put through a papershredder!  

She put up a great fight! Jumped twice completely out of the water.

It's a post spawn fish for sure, pre spawn fish of that size look like this around here.

Caught her in deep water, bass are done spawning for a while now.

Hey T-rig, nice fish ! I recently caught my first bass on the Wake Jr, myself... about 1 month ago, and since then, I bet I have caught 10 of them on it :-) In fact, I got my only bite yesterday on the Jr :-)

Oh but hey.... I bet you could get "two digital scales" for the price of one Wake Jr. ;-) Sorry man. I couldn't help myself :-)
