That fish was not healthy.  It put up no fight, color was awful compared to other fish in same tank, and it took it about 15 minutes to swim off after being released.  It was probably 22 inches long and weighed maybe 3lbs.  Like you said a big ol head.  I think I caught this fish a couple years ago in a more healthy state.  Either way it was good times.
