Strip Pitting

Featured Replies

My home lake, which I fish every weekend unless I go on a Roadtrip, is an old Coal Strip Pit. It is pretty good for numbers 1-2 lb'ers and usually on yearly basis I will get into a good one last year was 5 lb 6 oz but only one per season. This spring I caught one that went 4 lb 14 oz so I thought I had my quota from the Fish Gods for this year. Well to my surprise I caught a 4 lb 4 oz yesterday on a Football Jig tipped with a Rage Tail Chunk. Thanks Rage Tail!!!!
