Year at a glance (LOTS OF PICS)

Featured Replies

Just thought I'd put some of my favorite bass from this year together in one post.   Most of these are jig fish.  :)

and this will do it

I'm pretty sure #12 and #14 are the same fish, but I caught them on separate trips.

(same scar on the lip)

Nice fish!! I see you have a pond prowler or something similar to it. I bought one a couple of weeks ago and love it. Way to go on the fish!

Stick with it, and you'll be glad you did.  For a long time I didn't think I could catch a fish with a jig.  I would get them hung up, and not get bites, which would make me put the jig down and throw something else.

Winter before last, I went out fishing with a friend of mine and he MADE me leave my tackle box in his truck.  I had told him on the way to the lake that I hadn't ever caught a fish on a jig.  He said "you're catching fish with a jig today, or you're catching nothing at all"

After the first few hours of catching nothing, I was getting discouraged.  Then I felt that first bump, I set the hook, and I've been stuck on jigs ever since.  With more practice I started to catch more and more fish with them.  I always have a jig tied on now.

Man, you catch some nice fish. You have a Pond Prowler (or something like it) right? How do you like it?

wooh nice fish man, you got some real hogs there!

You should really stop carrying around the same bass to different locations and taking pics. No I'm just kidding, great bass collection you  have had over the year.
