Maiden Voyage

Featured Replies

Well a few weeks ago I purchased a new 1542 Tracker. I finally got a chance to take it out this weekend with my brother and a buddy. The wind was nasty out of the south at about 20-25mph. We had some trouble at first finding them, but once we did, we landed 10 in about 30minutes for a total of 35lbs. Overall was an awesome trip, the boat far exceeded my expectations as far as stability goes.

Haha don't hate. Those are my lucky shorts!

That boat should be very comfortable out on the lake.  I was gonna go out this Sun. but it was looking nasty.  Good to see their biting again.  I have had a hard time the last few outings.  P.S. I need my tires balanced I will be in your shop sometime this week.  See Ya....

Congrats Hawk, that's a great haul for such a windy day!

Coincidentally, I also christened a new Tracker two Sundays ago and was out again this past Sunday.

Both Sundays were from hell (this past Sunday was actually a tad better)

Like you, I was also very pleased with the Tracker's performance in a sharp chop.

I'll bet this looks eerily familiar (Florida, Sunday, January 24th)

Awesome job guys.  Man that feels so good once you find the pattern & just kill them.
