just bought my first couple of tiki monkeys in 3 inch and 4 inch . color combos i got were watermelon seed, watermelon red flake, and some green pumpkin. anyone use these and have success . im thinking of fishing them weightless or with a 1/8 oz weights. let me hear it.

i like the wave platypus better just by looks. havent tried my tiki monkeys till the spring. ill hopefully pick up some plattypussies. anyone try these?

Wave lures makes excellent products. I haven't used the monkey yet, but it looks awesome and I'm sure it will work great.

In the Watermelon/Chart color it is one of the best bed baits around. If I'm bed fishing I always have one rigged up on either a 1/32 or 1/16 oz bullet pegged with a toothpick 2-4" above the hook. It picks up the fish my other two bed baits can't.

I use the Monkey's and love them. 1/8 oz weight is a great weight selection. I use a Slider Pro Series 1/16 oz weight for the 3" and that is a pretty good deal especially when the bite is tough and you need to put a limit together. You def/ want to use weight though because they have a slow fall.

Someone mentioned the Platypus, Awesome bait for flipping/pitching. I took the Watermellon Seed up to NY this year and limited out fairly quick.
