Mattm sent me a pm, and said the lure is on the way, but it has not yet arrived.  I will be sure to put it to use as soon as I have it in my possession, though.  I'll keep you all updated!

Got the lure thursday, took it out for a quick hour on a small pond.  All I managed to hook in there was a chunk of ice.  I was dead set on not losing this lure, so I sat there tossing chunks of downed tree branches at the ice until it broke through.  One bad cast almost ruined the day!  I'm heading out again tomorrow or monday, so I should have a little more luck!

Count me in but wait a few weeks the ice is still here

This is not a complaint but you guys got me laughing.  How did this lure go from sunny, warm, cozy mmmmmmgood, S.Florida to the frigid, iced over lakes of the north?  

Just a suggestion but why don't the next person who speaks up for it make sure the lakes aren't frozen.

Please don't take the above the wrong way, I'm just anxious to see some fish caught on it.

Went to the same local pond today for about 2 hours, got one bite, landed one LMB, I'd say about 3.5lbs, great fish, hard to find them this time of year.  First Large mouth of the year, first fish of the year, all on the same day I sign the paperwork for my new job and my Xavier Musketeers take on WVU tonight!

oh come on, somebody has to want this!  Rapala floating minnow all for the fun and enjoyment of letting your BR buddies know what/when/were you caught or missed fish on it?  PM me and its your turn!

I was informed Korea_Bassin beat me to the punch.

Well, here's the latest on the BR Lure Relay.  I received the lure last Monday (it may have arrived a couple of days before that but I was out of town).  I had planned on taking my little inflatable boat out on Saturday to see what I could due, but ended up being too sick to get off the couch all day.  I felt better today, so I made it out to the water for a couple of hours this afternoon but didn't have time nor feel like messing with the boat.  So I fished from the bank and the water condiditons weren't particulary good.  The water was way down and very murky, but the weather was great.  Anyway, I managed this one fish on the relay lure which is all I fished with until I caught this sucker.  I fished it a bit longer and then tried some other lures, but this was the only fish of the day.

I will contact one of you who have expressed interest in participating to get your mailing address and will get the lure in the mail as soon as possible.  Good luck to all.

This is doing pretty well so far. I am glad to see people posting pics. I cant wait for my shot at it. I found some really nice (new to me) lakes that have alot of potential. Looks like the bait monkey wins again, I have to get a hound dog and a pole retriever as to insure that everyone get their turn.

Got a PM from Korea_Bassin this morning and I reckon it is on it's way to me here in VA.  Been hittin the ponds most evenins the past week and plan on going more this week and weekend.  Hopefully I can get it bit and get the pics and send it on quickly.

Latest update, got the lure in the mail this morning.  Will hit the ponds this week and see what smokes.  Burley, uhh Dinko the Clown is off this week so he may want to take it and see if he can get one of those monsters he has been pulling here lately with it.

Yep, I touched it today.  It will catch nothing but dinks from now on! :'(
