Ok, once we have finished with the suggestions with who for what I would like for Glenn to send us a Bassresource Tournament shirt so everytime I appear in a picture holding a fish everybody can see me wearing the Bass Resource shirt, I even promise to take closer pictures so everyone can see the logo. ;)

I can look very nize in a shirt like this one:

Well I can 't give much advice on musky but I can give advice in how to catch another teethy toothy critter, don 't fish for it !. Gar have the mind crazy habit of hitting your baits when you 're NOT fishing for them  ::), very unpleasant surprise when your about to lip a fish to discover the thing has more teeth than a chainsaw.  :o

MATT FLY- Tell that to the guys who have pm'ed me for muskie tips... ;)

Thats cool, But the subject of today and next day and next day is bass fishing,  I believe muskie and pike belong in the OTHER catagories. hello!  As I STATED!

  • Super User
I'm the local muskie/pike dude, does that count? :-/

No.  Does that answer your Question?  Maybe in the other section. I believe this is the General Bass Fishing Section.  And it doesn't sound like the other guys are trying to be a pike/muskie pro staff member either.LOL

Lipping a gar?  I wonder which would be worse:  A couple of weeks ago I went out with a buddy to some stock tanks (That's Texan for farm pond ;) ;D ) south of San Antonio, and as I was reeling in a watermelon candy brush hog over some weeds on the edge a 3 foot gator grabbed it.  Fortunately it didn't get the business end, only the tail, but that was close enough ;) ;D.

Regarding the original question-I like this site to both pass on info and to learn new things-just a bunch of good folks, and I would not want to put one above another.

just a bunch of good folks, and I would not want to put one above another.

oh god, any newcomers, dont listen to him... put Chris over me any day! lmao ;D

Max I cannot begin to count how many times someone asked for an idea on how to approach things and I give them a great answer and they go off in another direction. To me I think that is great because that means they are a free thinker and are able to problem solve on their own. Being a free thinker is a big key to fishing because you learn new ideas and techniques that others didn't come up with. You can give your input on topics but what it boils down to is what works for them.

ok, 1 more for the list

max-in-mn-    musky

lol

Oh god, enough already L-b-h. You know full well I wasn't upset because I didn't make "your" list, it was more the truly unneccesary harsh words. Ok yes, I made the mistake and should have known you meant bass related only. You don't have to beat around the bush with comments like "off topic"-refering to my posts. Honestly, I'm so embarressed now I don't even wanna post here anymore. But, I'm not gonna let a few guys scare me off, I just know who to avoid from here on.

max-n-MN, No malice intended on my part, just having fun with you. Keep on postin!!!!!

Kiddin,right man? Payback? lol!!

TOTALLY playin here, thought the joke was everybody pretending not to know that you da man for the toothy critters!! Trust me, I just might be looking you up. I always thought that the primest pike fishing would be a fly in to Manitoba or somthing but I'm learning that htey are much closer and just as big so.......

Don't be offended or embarressed, would never want you to feel that way, just harmless ribbing. Sorry man. We good?

don't give into LBH's antics...  how do you think his hookers are low budget?   ;D

I read the "anyone know about musky" line as a joke.  or I took it as a joke as well.
