Not sure about the rest of these fine folks, but I use  2/0.

you gotta go with an offset hook and i like the gap to be 2 - 3 times the width of the lizard.

Gamakatsu #3/0,4/0 or 5/0 EWG, depending on the size of the lizard you are using. I generally fish a 6" lizard on a #4/0 EWG.

Roadwarrior is right on.  For most of the plastics that I use, a 2/0 Gammy EWG is what I use.  However, those are on lures that are 5-7"  

For lizards that are bigger, say around 9-12" long, go with a 6/0 EWG.

I like both Gamakatsu and Mustads, so, you just have to check them out and experiment with them.

In 6" I use 4/0 EWG

In 8" I use 5/0 EWG

I use just an offset shank worm hook more than an EWG, but the size ranges from 2/0-4/0 depending on the size of the bait.  I use the EWG hooks for baits that are real thick like a Brush Hog.

         I wouldnt use a hook bigger than 2/0. Offset hooks work good for this. The reason for the small hook is so the bait floats  better.  This is important for carolina rigging.

I'm a gammy dealer.

Having all the hooks around me lets me try out different combos. Here's my version. For the little 4" guys I use gamakatsu offset shank worm 2/0.

6" I use the same hook in 3/0 or a 4/0 depending on whose plastic I'm throwing.

Bigger = bigger hook.

I'm not a big fan of the EWG stuff for lizzards. Just my opinion.

Also, if I'm using any kind of smaller worm such as a trick worm or a culprit etc. I'll use the standard rubber worm hook. (no offset)

I just like the way they set.

I mainly use 3/0 EWG or a 4/0 G-Lock Worm Hook

I forgot to mention G-locks.

I think they're often over looked.

In addition to rigging a tube I love them for anything short and fat, such as a beaver.
