A new moderator?

Some of you may have noticed that Russ, a.k.a. Low Budget Hookers, is now a moderator.  That's not a mistake folks!

The growth of this site is exploding.  More than 40 people joined the forums in last 5 days alone.  As a result, the volume of posts is getting to the point where I needed a hand.

Russ has demonstrated his passion for this site by taking forum members out fishing, helping on side projects for the site, and even taking the initiative to help out a forum family in need by orchestrating a fund-raising drive on this site.  In addition, he's also running a C.A.S.T. for Kids event next year in grand fashion.

When I asked Russ if he would be willing to lend a hand running the forums, he enthusiastically said, "Yes!"

Please help me welcome and congratulate Low Budget Hookers on his new role!  ;D

Please also welcome Chris aboard as a new moderator!  As many of you know, Chris is one of the most dedicated members here, and one of the most knowlegeable anglers.  His passion for the sport and this site is clearly demonstrated every day, in every post, as he freely shares his knowledge with everyone here.  He's a welcome addition to the moderator crew.

Congratulations Chris!  :D

The right guys for the job. Congrats to Russ and Chris.

Congrats, guys!  I've moderated some other forums in my time (lol) and I can tell you it turns out to be as much fun as it is work.  Just don't spend so much time that you don't get out on the lake now and again ;)

Thanks guys but if lightning, alligators, and 40mph winds don't keep us off the lake, helping Glenn out a bit certainly won't! :)

Kudos to Glenn on the choices for the new Moderator's........;D

Congratulations to L-B-H, and Chris on their new positions.....  ;)

COngrats to both Russ and Chris!  The Forum POLICE force has grown.....We won't be able to get away with anything now!  Just kidding!  Great choices!  With winter coming, I expect more activity on this site.  Sounds like a great time to expand the staff!

Best of luck, boys! ;)

Outstanding!! Love to hear that the best  bass site on the web is growing so quickly.  LBH and Chris are great people who will keep the quality of the site going and growing.

Congrats to all

Good to see Chris and Russ coming out to rescue poor Glenn from all that work. Now Glenn can get some fishin time too ::)

Excellent choices Glenn both of them.

Thanks L_B_H , I hope we all can  do our part to keep things smooth as possible. I know the FAQ is right there, but a lot of sights make it weekly reading request.

congrats guys , have enjoyed ur post and am sure u'll be a big help to Glenn!

Great move Glenn!  I was wondering if you were going to start dishing out some of the duties.  This thing has really taken off since I joined back in Jan.  Now you can wet a line ever now and then ;D.  IMO you picked the right guys for the job.  Congrats LBH and Chris.

Hats off!

I will personally vouch for LBH, having fished as his main partner and having helped in many of his endeavors over the last 10 years, I'll be the first to say he is of fine charachter. From bringing fishing to kids of all ages including the handicapped to just helping fix a trailer on his free day, he'll get it done!

As for Chris, If you've ever read his replies, they speak for themselves. There are a few folks here who should be writing for magazines. Roadwarrior, Chris, etc., your knowledge and style of explaining, are second to none. If this place doesn't offer knowledge as comprable to the known mags out there, I'll eat my hat!

bassresource.com, ride the explosion.

Great job to all of you.
