Luck "E" Strike Bass Magic swimbait hooks?

Does anyone have any experience with Luck "E" Strike Bass Magic hooks?

I was at BPS yesterday picking up some hollow swimbait hooks and came across these. I was planning to get some Mustads, but @ nearly $3 per hook, I was not too pleased.

Then I saw these. Packs of 4 for $4. They sure look like quality hooks...

But anyone have any experience with these? At nearly $1 less per hook than the competition, I'm certainly favoring this price point :)

I used them in the spring last year.

I used the 4 inch ones in Baby Bass color and rigged them with a 3/0 or 4/0 Daiichi Buttdragger Hook.

They have great action, (wobble and good tail action) and are very durable.  They don't rip easily and are very tough.  Good color too.

I caught some fish on it, nothing giant, but some quality keepers  ;D

Good luck

Hey Chris I am sure the above answer helped you understand how the hooks you asked about worked

Hehe -- thanks for the info, but I'm looking for info on the Bas Magic HOOKS, not the swimbaits themselves :)

Well aren't you a jokester

Sorry Chris at Tech, I didn't read the question right, my fault.

I don't know about the Bass Magic hooks, but I do know that if your worried about the price of the hooks, do-it molds just came out with a swimbait hook mold where you take a regular EWG, place it in the mold, pour the lead, and you get a nice wieghted Swimbait hook.  Thats if you have the equipment to pour lead.  Otherwise, i've been sucking up and buying the overpriced Mustads :'(.  Can't wait to start making my own.

Only hook you should need.

Or get some BPS swimbait weights that attach to the hook.

Sorry-

I use the 4.5" and the 5/0 is perfect.

If you are on a budget and like the keeper style, try these.

Falcon are a little more pricey.

Check out hooks below.
