I've had good luck lately with:

1. Oldham's Screw Lock Jigs (great colors, Needle Point Hooks, and I like the screw lock feature for trailers.

2. Tournament Force Tackle (a web site tackle dealer). They use an Arkie style head, Ultra Point Hooks, and they have a trailer keeper built in. Wide range of colors too.

3. Also like the Lunker Lure Monster Grass Jig for grass and flippin. Good paint jobs, and a strong flippin hook. They're hard to find, but they seem to be higher quality than the regular Triple Rattle Back they make.

Anyone have any other jigs they recommend (other than the big comapny production types at BPS, etc.)?

as much as I love to throw jigs, the weedy Florida conditions i fish are not really well suited to them.

A pegged t-rigged tube or other soft plastic comes through the thick stands of stringy weeds like niad (pond weed) and millfoil much cleaner.  

I still have a couple dozen in a bunch of different brands and styles.  I use em and catch fish on em, but I'm not replacing them anymore.  It's just too big a pain to have to clean em off after nearly every cast.

I throw the Lunker Lure triple rattleback jigs never had a problem. I use the smaller single rattleback jigs for pitching and I really like those.

One of my all time favorite was a us tackle jig.  I bought a bunch about 5-8 years ago and now I havent seen them again.  Oh well good thing I make Poison jigs now.

I'd have to say Booyah Boo Jigs, as those are the only ones i've ever used.

Hope to remedy that this year and try some new stuff.
