ESPNOUTDOORS & BASS INSIDER

Featured Replies

Does anybody knows whether there is any way to watch espn's bass tv programs through internet? Can this be done through Bass Insider's membership?

According  to bassmaster's website among other thinks, 100's of Tips and Technique Videos are offered. Are these the espn's programs?

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

What/If any bass shows are coming back for next season?

I don't think you'll be seeing a whole lot of bassin' shows.  Bassmasters, certainly.  Beyond that it's anybody's guess.

Merry Christmas Yiannis!

You do get short (1-2min) downloads through Bass Insider membership, including footage from tournaments and how-to instructional animations.

I just wished they made some of their programs available on DVDs, there was a thread on this subject in the tournament section...

p.s. I will soon answer your pm, I only saw it tonight...

FLWOUTDOORS website has Videos on Demand.  It's all free.  they have about 15 videos from there top pros.

theres a new channel I get on my cable.  It's call VS.  as in "versus"

It has Roland Martin on it.

As for Bass Insider, I found nothing to justify the cost.  Got snookered once. Never again.

I personally can't stand watching any show Roland Martin is a part of. He is a very accomplished fishermen but he drives me insane. He likes hearing himself talk even when he has guests on like Gary Yamamoto.  On comcast on-demand videos, they have Martin and Yamamoto bass fishing his new swimming senko.  I have to mute it.

I would like to see Ike come up with a show sooner or later.  I think it would be very informative.  That guy has a vault of knowledge and I wanna hear it.

My sentiments precisely.

Seems like ESPN2 dropped a lot of fishing shows and Versus/OLN added a few more. BassPros and Next Bite are 2 new ones that are good. Nextbite are mostly for toothy fish, but I've read their website for a few years and the Bass Pros show has KVD, Rick Clunn, Jason Quinn and I think Edwin Evers is on there too. Plus the usual shows from last year. Bill Dance, Shaw Gigsby, Hank Parker, Roland Martin...etc, etc.

Vs. (formerly OLN) is definitely better than the ESPN shows. They actually have the shows on all different times during the week instead of just Saturday AM like ESPN2.

I guess you can tell I watch a lot of TV.

Here in Ont. Canada we have WFN World Fishing Network (wife loves it) 24 hour fishing. If you go on the WFN website you can watch FLW's from 2005, Classic Patterns,Bass Champ and bunch of stuff by down loading from the net.

Next year the plan WFN is U.S.A. then in 2009 Around the world

Have fun
