Bass Fishing for beginners books and dvds?

Featured Replies

Do you guys recommend any good dvds or books to help on beginning of bass fishing.I have KVD 3 dvd set and loved it. A DEA guy was telling me about a book by In Fishermen but i totally forgot the name of it. I would like to learn or watch about moon phase and things of this nature. Thanks guys

In-Fisherman has several excellent tapes/dvd's on bass fishing.  BPS has a bunch of dvd's on just about any technique you want.

Bass Pro Shops have DVD's by Larry Nixon & Tommy Martin; I would buy all of them  ;)

You might look at KVD's "bass strategies" and "secrets of a champion".

Both books explain techniques and conditions pretty good.

KVD books are both pretty good and get the season one dvd of the Bass pros. It covers alot.

Not sure how much of a beginner you are, but "Bass Wisdom" by Homer Circle is a great book for beginners.

thanks guys ill pick some of these up once i replace my stolen reel/rod

Chuck Justice has a couple of DVD's that were a great help to me. I found them on ebay. Look under Trophy Bass Secrets.

Definately check out the new DVD of the new show "The Bass Pros" at BPS.

BASS PRO SHOPS catalog theres a dvd for type of fishing you desire

i dont think there is any subsitute for trial and error.

Books, DVD's, and magazine articles can help and may be a decent starting point. Finding

a mentor, and actual time on the water will be your best bet. Most skilled fishermen had

mentors, coaches, or fishing buddies that helped them learn the ropes! The best place to find

a mentor is by joining a local bass club! Good luck!

theres a dvd at walmart about crank baits i haven't bought it yet due to it not having any closed caption for the deaf  >:( does anyone have this dvd and does it have subtitles?
