This will be my first year of serious fall fishing. What tips do you all have that can help me find and produce good fish in the fall. Where is my best places to find schooling bass? Or are the shallow fish a better bet?

The fall fish I like to target mostly are the ones which come into windy banks or points.  For these fish I use a swim jig or spinnerbait.  When there is no wind I back off and use a craw jig or tube.

Thanks that helped. So i need to still focus on the points? What about docks and stumps or trees in the creeks?
