Lake Pics.....Lets see your spot...

Featured Replies

I took this snap the other day after thinking about the fact that I don't take enough photo's without fish(and maybe should stick to the fish photo's). Great rainbow that lasted about 20 minutes something you don't see often in Cali. Funny thing was the arches ended inside of the lake. On one end there was a group of about 100 Comorants on shore and the other was near a small point. I fished for the pot of gold at both ends and came up still broke  ;D maybe next time....

Here one of my secret spots! Nobody fishes here. I wish that place was mine!

Don't have many lake pics, but this is a fun pond.  I've only been there a couple times because it is such a horrible, small, twisted, narrow road getting into this small mountain community, but is well worth it.

Hey L-Train, Millwood looks like a very unique lake and one that is very fun to fish. Looks like there are a lot of elements to it. Wish we had a lake around here that had all of those fishy spots to cast into. Nice pics and beautiful fish.  Would have loved to see that thing prespawn.

Millwood is great.  You can fish about anything you want there.  It is approx. 30,000 acres.  You can fish cypress trees, lilly pads, hydrilla, milfoil, a big main lake, many river channels, current, oxbows, clear water creeks, muddy to stained water, clear water...you name it and millwood has it.

I lived in Texarkana for a year and I will be making a few trips back there every year.

Paradise WMA Tifton,Ga. A lot less water this year.

I've been meaning to make a road trip to Millwood.  Then I remember how many gators there are.  That changes my mind.  I know they usually don't bother humans but, it's the idea of something that bites back that bothers me! ;D  Just this weekend, I was using a swimbait in Florida.  Pulled it back and there were big huge chunks missing from it.   Looked like a dog knawed on it.  Whatever bit it, I didn't want any part of it.  I'll stick to my clear water reservoir lake and be happy! ;)

Heres the spot...  ;)
