Spreadsheet for Bass fishing Log? Anyone???

Featured Replies

Does anyone on here have a spreadsheet they use for their bass log.

I was looking for something I could track every bass I catch this year, or maybe just bass over a pound or so....

Anyone make a nice spreadsheet for this purpose??

THanks

John D.

I'll be making an OpenOffice Calc spreadsheet for my own purposes soon probably.  If anyone else wants it, I'll get back to this thread when I get around to it.

It doesn't take long and is pretty simple to do a basic one but I usually go overboard trying to make spreadsheets as handy as possible with formulas, locked cells, ability to import pictures, and nice colors and all.  I also intend to allow one to sort records based on weight, species, lake/body of water, or lure on which the fish was caught so don't wait on me if you want to make your own.

I had an OpenOffice Base database(s) that I made to use this way but it didn't work too well with the newer versions of Base.  I even had a database of my entire tacklebox and it was cross-referenced with the fishing logs/catch records.  It sucked that I had to scrap all that work.   :'(

I use Micro Soft Word to document every thing & then put it in Excel for searches   ;)

no problem.

i haven't actually used a spread sheet yet, but this year i'd like to document as much as i can so that'll come in handy.

i tried something similar last season and lost track about a month into it i might try again

I have been filling out the paper logs, diary for years but what Irrelevant is talking about doing sounds great..would be much easier to look things up
