I am from Rhode Island and watched all of Charlie's shows. Lately, he seems "too big for his britches." Making fun of people, acting like a fishing "God" etc. I don't need to hear anyone telling me how great they are. If you have to do that, you probably aren't. Sad prediction (or not) he won't be on much longer...everyone I talk to, even die hard fans, feel the same.

I even got a call back (out of 60,000 applicants) for Beat Charlie Moore on ESPN. I guess because I am so nearby. The producers asked where I fished in RI etc. and said they would get back to me in the spring.....I think I have better things to do this spring...  :

I'll check it out.  Might be unpopular, but that's OK----  I enjoy reading various books about Bass, and will see for myself.  Not being from that neck of the woods, I would have no idea of the "issues" surrounding him.  Either way...peace out Blue Dolphins!
