Windy Bass Behavior help please

Wind can blow plankton into the bank. Baitfish follow

and predators are right behind them. Sometimes this

can turn into a great opportunity.

I visit ocassionaly a lake called "Los Reyes" near the town of San Felipe up in the sierra, the place when the wind doesn 't blow becomes a cementary, you catch nuthin ', add a little wind or better a strong wind and you are in business.

All things the same, I will always fish the bank that the wind is blowing into. Many fisherman try to get out of the wind bc its a pain to fish in. However, I think that many times that is the wrong move.

I look for points were the wind blows across and creates current. Wich makes for great ambush spots for bass.

i usually fish the side of the lake that the wind is blowing towards with a spinnerbait and i do really well. the wind pushes in the little bait fish

On windy days, my first priority is to fish on wind blown banks! Bait fish are blown to these banks and the bass will follow. I was fishing this past weekend at Douglas Lake in East, TN; we had 25+ MPH winds and I fished entirely on wind blown points. Every time I went out, I caught fish using a spinnerbait! Hope this helps! ;)

Thanks RW, I always heard that the wind blew the bait fish and  that didn't make since to me, however baitfish following their food source does.
