Excellent article.

I still have my Ika's and have to start throwing them more.

:)

Nice piece JT!!!  Thanks!!

It's great to see RW's name in print on Yamamoto's Inside Line, he's been nothing less than a stellar ambassador for GYCB.

I'd think he'd be a great fit to do some writing for them himself, he knows the line inside & out.

Again, thanks for the exposure and Nice write up JT!!

Nice write up JT!!! I don't think RW or you should ever have to buy another GYCB Bait. Then again yall might not be buying them. ;D

Very nice article.  Reminds me that I, too, need to start throwing them more.  And now, I finally know how to pronounce the name.

Thanks everyone.

I swear it seems like a year since RW gave me the quotes for

that article. It is actually a pretty slow process.

I can tell you all something right now...

If things keep going the way they are, my next article

will be about the Yamamoto Shad Shape Worm. The bass are killing

it right now.

Very nice article. Reminds me that I, too, need to start throwing them more. And now, I finally know how to pronounce the name.

Ika (ee-ka) Who'd a thunk! :-[

the Japanese...... ;D

JT, excellent read.  You certainly opened my eyes to a new bait that I've just plain over looked.  90% of my plastic deep bottom bouncing is with Ugly Otters or a 10 inch worm with a 1/2 oz bullet wt. When I need to lighten up I switch to a setup with a 1/4-3.8 oz bullet wt and down size to a 7 inch worm or a Yami Kreature bait. But I can the advantage of switching to a Ika for a completely different look.  Will be trying them out real soon.

Falcon

I just bought some of these from *** and wondered how to use them. Thanks JT and Kent, I will give these a try worked and rigged like you described.

Ronnie, you and I both know that Kent has NEVER been just a regular guy.  Kent, take that any way you want to.   ;D ;D ;D

  • Super User

Probably ought to discuss that over a glass or two of whiskey.
