bass pro shops gift cards.

Featured Replies

I have 170 dollars in gift cards for bass pro shops.  These gift cards are from retuning a combo in which the reel's worm shaft stopped moving and a guide on the rod broke while pulling backwards to break a jig off of a tree.  The people at the store asked if I wanted store credit or money.  I stupidly said store credit.    now it turns out bass pro shops doesn't have the rod I want, which is a zillion.  Is there possibly a way to exchange the gift cards for cash?

Nope.  Gonna have to suck that one up.  Unless it's possible that they can order it for you.  Goodluck

Try selling the card or go to the store and find a customer to swap you cash for it.  They can verify the card is real at the counter.

You can use the gift cards online. Why not just order the rod you want and have it delivered?

EDIT: Nevermind. They don't have the Zillion online either.

Don't worry, I'm sure they'll have the Zillion rods by Q3 2010.

Last month I realized I still have random gift cards from last Christmas that I have not used, so i googled "gift card swap" and found a few online businesses that let you buy/sell/trade gift cards.  I am not going to post a link because I cannot vouch for any of them yet, just thought you may want to know they are out there and possibly worth looking into.

This is probably your best and easiest option.

People sell cift cards on our local Craigslist all the time..... like '$100 Home Depot Gift Card for $80'

You might consider it-

Going in those stores are just great. I'm sure you will find something you can't live without or always wanted to try. :D

This might not work but it seemes right in my head ...

Go in buy 170 worth of jigs or spinnerbaits hooks whatever :P

(Although a dollar jig would be fun to watch)

Get a reciept and leave the store ...

Turn arround

Enter Store

Return for cash your 170 dollar jigs :P

Refunds are given in the form of the original payment.

Suggstion from an old guy:

Use the gift card for other purchases.

Save your pennies and dimes and then order your Zillion.

Just a suggestion.  :)
