Tide is everything...PERIOD!!!!!

Well for saltwater it is and the full moon I'm starting to believe may be an old wives tale.

As far as freshwater, I've looked at those charts and have fished based on the peak times.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.  I may put more stock into barometric pressure, fishing is awesome right before a hurricane when the pressure is dropping.

I fish the same places everyday both fresh and salt.

Paul dude you've let me down, the moon's gravitational pull cause a tide in all bodies of water on the planet earth. The larger the bodies of water the greater the tidal movement will be but even your ponds have a tidal movement although only slight.

The gravitational pull of the sun and moon is three times greater on the new moon than the full moon. At the time of the new moon the earth has the moon and the sun in a straight line pulling together.

Hmmm interesting thought.  Probably true that there is a tide in smaller bodies of water but I would wonder if its even enough to analytically measure... let alone be detected by and adhered by a bass and or baitfish.

Hum I wonder if bait fish or bass can sense slight barometric or temperature changes; the movements in a pond maybe slight but move up to larger lakes/reservoirs and not only can this tide be measured but it will and does reposition fish.

Figure the proportional size of the ocean to any lake. You can probably get a ballpark on how much movement there would be -mebbe a centimeter, or less? Better, there probably is data out there.
