Cold Weather?

Featured Replies

Heading out on the lake tomorrow morning. looking for some tips on what to use?, where to use it?, etc...I'm in North Carolina, it's bee cold the past few days with rain yesterday. Tomorrow looks like low 40's to high 40's. Fishing a reservoir with not too a whole lot of structure. It has major docks, some grass, a few drop offs. I'm looking forward to see what you guys throw at me.

you pretty much covered it... check the dropoffs, the grass edges and the docks, try senkos and jigs very slowly, and lipless cranks deeper but still above the vegetation... theres enough people here that have their own suggestions

Try a susp jerkbait above the grass or on the breaks leading to flats, also lipless cranks.

I don't know about North Carolina, but right now in central Florida,

most of the bass are in very skinny water, about 1 to 3 ft deep.
