I know it is alittle early in the season to ask this but, of the ones that are fishing now! Of these Rage Tails baits which one is the hot one for now?

There should be a few more comments after next week's Roadtrip,

quite a few guys will be giving Rage Tail baits a try. The Lobster has

produced some good fish. I think Big O posted a picture of an 11+ a

couple of weeks ago. This is one of the baits I will be throwing a lot

at Kentucky Lake.

The Anaconda was my biggest producer late summer/ early fall. Big O

says they can be used for "numbers", but nearly all my bass were 5+.

I don't think it's the right choice for tournament fisherman unless you

are fishing a lake know for heavy sacks.

8-)

I've been catching fish on the craws. Only tried the andaconda once, but it's a little too big for me. Can't wait to try the shad and toads. I love rage tail craws!!!!

A little too big? :-? Do you really live in Florida? Just kidding.Give it a chance.Certain waters around here the big worms will out produce the regular ones by far.

The craw is my best producing bait.I love it for pitching in dirty water and fishing in the dark.

I was thinking that the lizard would be the hot bait. I am not sure, but I think the bass are about to spawn down south by now and the lizard would be a killer! :-/

i love the craw.. i have surprisingly caught several off the bed with it already this year.. its like they just can't stand em anywhere near there bed.. caught several on it in early spring and during prespawn as well

definatly the rage craw still wanna give the lobster a try.

space monkey. that bait has put me in the money twice this year. in one tourney i fished a stretch that had already been worked over by 2 boats and i still pulled 12 pounds out that area. the one boat kept looking back after every fish i caught. i love when that happens.

Have only tried the shad and the craw of the ones listed.  Have had excellent results on both Smallies and LM with the craw. Fish it on a weighted keeper style hook.   Do not like the shad at all.

I caught quite a few good fish last year on both the shad and the toad. I've so far added anacondas and space monkeys to this years selection. Lobsters and craws are on my buy list.

I would have to say the lizards right now with the spawn upon us.

The Toads are awesome! their legs are like buzz baits and stir up a lotttt of water

i've tried the shad with no success so far but think it will get better once the water temps get up a bit. After seeing all the comments on the craw I guess I will have to make a trip to Cabelas tonight to pick up some.

i'd like to try the anaconda, but i haven't seen them locally. when i find a pack locally i might try them, they're just too expensine for a soft plastic bait. :-/

I've had awesome luck with the craw on the beds as well..

The shad was pretty intimidating also.

Pulled 11 fish yesterday with the craw. Largest was 5lb. and another bumping that. The others were 2-3 lbs. Landed a nice 4 lb.'er from another spot on Thursday.

I've pulled bedding fish with this bait while dragging it tex-posed with a 1/16 or 1/8 oz. bullet weight, unpegged. Pre-spawners off of lay-downs and points can't resist it either. Post-spawners are susceptible to it's enticing action as well. Seems like hopping it like you would a worm just doesn't seem as effective as dragging it, pause, drag again. Most hits are coming while it's moving and those craaaazzzy claws are flapping!

I have chosen the craw because that is what I have been fishing the most lately, dragging it across the bottom and swimming it on a jig. I have also caught fish on the lobster, lizard, and the space monkey too. I personally cannot wait until the water temp warms up enough to start using the shad... ;D ;D ;D

I would have thought that the lizard would have more votes at this time! :-/
