when wacky rigging a senko do you guys like to run the hook right through the middle of the bait or does it get better action if it is hooked in smooth part thats offset from the center a bit?? i have never really given senkos a chance and figured i would give them a good try this year..any other tips about fishing them would be awesome... and your favorite colors??  thanks!!

This is a very broad question that has been answered in numerous ways and times. That said there is really no wron way to rig it.The fish eat it!

I just hook it right through the middle of the senko.

Black/Blue fleck is my favorite color.

I've always wondered, and never seen it posted before on this site, but are the Kinami Flash and the Senko the same baits?  One is made by Derek Yamamoto, the other by some guy named Gary Yamamoto.  I think they might be related, but I think that Gary stole the senko idea from Derek.

As for a best way??.. T-rigged or wacky like u were saying.. I love wacky but sometimes hard in cover or lots of weeds.. nd thats when it calls for the t-rig... Either way works great.. Favorite colors? watermelon red flak.. pumpkinseed.. black w/blue flake.

I just go right thru the middle and it works its magic...you can texas rig it if youre getting hung up but no question wacky works best, especially if you know where the fish are

I start with a T-rig, wacky , then C-rig. Just let the fish tell you.

T-rig or C-rig will be weedless you can also find some weedless hooks, but if you rig the end of the hook back up into the senko it will be weedless, check out how to rig t-rig its fairly easy
