I'm watching the Outdoor channel and Fish Fishburne comes on with his new show. It SUCKS..... They should have kept him off the air it's even more stupid then his last time on TV.

I did see Zona with KVD Friday night it was an awesome show.

Probably goes with age. I'd take Fishburne any day over Zona who to me is even worse than Charlie Moore. And I would never had thought that possible. Maybe us older guys could have a show that doesnt have the obnoxious music from the last 10 years and arrogant oaf's with caps on crooked. And no Dance and Martin are for the geriatric brigade!

years ago, Fishburne was great for the weigh-ins.  I had a good time  with him for the few seconds it took to weigh in my fish and he kept the crowd engaged.  I will definateley take a look at his show.

I am a huge Fish fan, loved him when he was emcee, but this new show is one of the worst I have seen.  The only thing worse is Charlie Moore!

It sucked so bad I turned it off. And thats something I never do is turn off a fishing show. I hate to say it guess i'm old school but it was to childish and stupid!!!!!!!!!

In his behalf, Fish's show isn't designed to be your "average" show with "re-told" tips and tricks that almost every angler knows about.

He was in a tree stand, out in the middle of the lake, like a hunter would be in the woods. He was even wearing camo.

Sometimes you just gotta sit back and laugh. He has a unique personality - something to endorse, not burn down.

I don't think his target audience is older tournament anglers in the first place. Seems more directed towards younger anglers who like quirky shows.

It's not for me, but the guy is playing his cards right. ;D

The show will be cancelled just like the last one.  The format eliminates a ton of viewers and the ones that watch, will grow tired of his foolish antics.  The show is just too stupid to watch.  Just my 2 cents.

I thought the show was stupid.  I'll never watch again, or waste DVR time.

What bothers me is:  What demographic group is the sponsor(s) targeting?  Who that has money to spend is going to watch that show?  I doubt it will make the season.  If I can't watch it in the winter, I doubt enough people to pay the bills will.

Fishburne is an idiot.  He has always been an idiot, and unless I'm a bad judge of character, always will be.

I'll cut him a little slack.  Maybe he's not an idiot.  Maybe just the character he chooses to play is an idiot. 

Just who the hell are they trying to target? If it's the 12-15 age group if might fly. Boy, I bet that group spends a ton of money on the sponser's product.

If this is any indication of the upcoming season of fishing shows I'm just going to pass.

Any idea when the new season of UMF is coming on?

Just the opposite I think he was targeting the older set. Listen to the background music it wasnt meant for anyone under 50. Hence no crooked NY cap ala gangbanger either. If you think the tree stand idea is stupid, look at the Lakota Cuttrouts they catch off of ladders in California. Thats the great thing about t.v The channels change. I dont have to watch Mark Zona or Charlie Moore so I dont. Same goes for you guys too.

Fish is a comic..either you like his comedy or  you don't. Me personally , i don't like it.  Not many comedians are also fishing personalities and it takes a special breed to actually pull it off. Charlie Moore---fail, Fish Fishbourne----fail..Mark Zona is the only fishing tv personality that has pulled of the comedy IMO. 

I do remember one stunt that fish pulled that I thought was hilarious, it was at the Bass Masters Classic weigh in in the Greensboro coliseum, he reached into the livewell and pulls out two huge stuffed bass that were the size of 20 pounders, he held them up and the place went nuts.

Sadly his "sponsor" Team Grandma passed away yesterday.  He must be doing something right with somebody, he certainly has a list of lovely looking women posting on his facebook.  Average southern white guy humor must resinate with someone other than just me.

Watched it for the first time today.  First watched UMF and my kids complained the whole time.  As soon as FF's show came on, they were absolutely riveted.  For that it's a good thing.

What show/channel?  I haven't seen his World's Greatest Fishing Show in the listings for a while now.

It's called Zona's Awsome Fishing Show or something like that - it's on the same channel as Fishburne

I recorded the past two shows and had a chance to watch both last night. First show was painful, but gave him another shot by watching the second show...fast forward thru commercials and most of the show. I have more room on my DVR now. 

Yup I watched 10 minutes & shut if off!

It SUCKS!! He should be on the Comedy Network or Barnum & Bailey's Circus!
