Hey guys, I'm new to the site. I was reading on here the other day and decided I wanted to join.

I'm trying to get more into bass fishing. I mainly catfish now, but bass fishing looks like alot of fun so I want to give it a shot.

Most of the time I'll be fishing from the bank and when I get to use a boat it'll be a pontune boat.

Any advice for a newbie?

I'm not gonna lie, this is the best welcome I have ever gotten from an online comunity, ever.

A hearty WELCOME to the BR Forums - the BEST bass fishing site on the Net, IMO! I too love to fish for cats every once in awhile. Very relaxing to throw out some cut makeral or stink bait and just sit back and wait for your line to zing out with a cat on the other end (an occassional carp or two:o)  You will find the the great guys and gals on the BR Forums are just that - GREAT!!
