Just joined up and wanted to say hello.  Had a good time this past weekend at the classic...it was amazing, way more people turned out than I expected.

I fish Red river,Black lake and Grand bayou. My largest Bass is 7lbs 6 oz.  I mainly pitch soft plastics and jigs but always have a boo-yah spinnerbait tied on.

Looking forward to sharing information.

Welcome!  You sound like a man after my own heart . . . . plastics, jigs, and spinnerbaits with a dash of everything else on the side.   :)

Welcome. We loved Shreveport. They were a very good host city for the Classic. I had some of the best food I have ever eaten.

Welcome!!! I don't have to tell you how lucky you are to live in such a great area for fishing....

red river, caddo lake, black bayou in hosston, cross lake, black lake, bistineau...

I would trade every lake within an hour of me for just one of those!!!

I am from Coushatta...about 45 miles south of Shreveport. There are lots of fishing choices within an hour of here. The Red River is my favorite and there are two Corp of engineering boat lauches within 10 miles of my home. Grand Bayou lake is about 3 miles from my home and is a great fishery. Black Lake is full of Cypress trees and you can pitch soft plastics/jigs all day. Toledo Bend is also a great lake but can get rough if the wind picks up.

Would love to fish together sometime...give me a holler.

I have not fished Caddo,Cross or Black Bayou.  Black lake and Red river are my favorites.
