Newish to Texas

Featured Replies

Hi all.

New to this site, and fairly new to Texas.

I grew up fishing stained/muddy lakes and creeks in Indiana from the bank, canoe or jon boat.

Here in Texas I mainly bank fish the ultra clear water of Lake Travis.

I confess I miss the flooded timber and mystery of the murky water.  The fishing here is a bit tougher, but the size trade-off keeps it fun.

Having an ultralight rig along for panfish keeps it exciting and really helps when it's way too hot to be outside and the bass aren't biting. Any way....tight lines...
